We currently have an opportunity for a Senior HR Administrator in one of Winnipeg's largest Human Resources departments where you have the opportunity to progress in your HR career with a growing and innovative company. This position is responsible for providing a full spectrum of human resources administrative services to assigned business units mainly in the areas of HRIS user support and coordinating candidate processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support to managers, plant administrators and employees on hiring, onboarding, application of collective bargaining agreements and other transactions
  • Coordinate HRIS recruitment process with various locations across North America
  • Advertise job postings using the most effective advertising mediums, post jobs internally and externally
  • Prepare offer letters, change letters and employment verification letters
  • Maintain confidential HR information including HRIS employee profile data
  • Coordinate a variety of HR administrative initiatives such as eLearning tracking, service awards and probationary review tracking
  • May assist in HR projects related to acquisitions, HR systems, etc.
Qualifications:
  • 2 - 3 years recruitment and human resources administration experience
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field is preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office in Excel (VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables) and HR Systems is required
  • Superior attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and high volume environment
  • Exceptional communication skills with a customer service focus and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
