Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Project Manager in our Highway Design Group, we\'ll count on you to:

• Support and help lead the growth of our highway and road design group
• Lead, plan, direct and monitor all aspects of large multidiscipline projects with high degree of technical complexity, typically in excess of $5 million and involving a large project staff
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
• Establish client relations and support marketing efforts, including leading pursuits
• Lead schematic, design development and contract document preparation in conjunction with Project Managers, engineers, and other technical professionals across all applicable disciplines
• Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to meet milestone deadlines
• Manage the financial success of projects in conjunction with the Project staff, Project Accountant, Accounting Manager, and Department Manager
• Implement QA/QC procedures
• Support and execute training for personnel
• Supervise staff, as assigned, and support the growth and development of highway engineers, EITs, and designers
• Maintain professional engineering registration

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering
• P. Eng.
• Minimum of 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in project management including management of MTO detail design assignments
• Extensive knowledge of Ministry of Transportation design practices and requirements, including application of design standards, CDED, and preparing contracts
• Eligible to be qualified in MTO RAQS under Detail Design \xe2\x80\x93 High Complexity
• Strong communication, leadership, planning and mentoring skills
• Demonstrated business development, marketing, and strategic planning skills
• Familiarity with MS Office and MS Project
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with alternate delivery models on owner and delivery sides.
• PMP Certification
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microstation, and Bentley InRoads
• Experience with municipal projects and utility coordination
