Job Description
Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is one of the largest school divisions in Alberta, serving the educational needs of approximately 17,950 students in 42 schools. EIPS is recruiting a part-time (0.714 FTE) Senior High Teacher at Fort Saskatchewan High.
Teaching assignment includes the instruction of the following courses:
Biology 20
Social Studies 10
Science 10-4 and 14
Math 10-4
Esthetics
Fort Saskatchewan High serves approximately 470 students in grades 10 to 12, with 26 teaching staff and 14 support staff. The school is located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, approximately 20 kilometres north of Sherwood Park, AB.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education degree Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Effective organization and classroom management skills Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged Excellent verbal and written skills Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training
