Brannen Lake RV Park & Campsite (BLC)

is a family owned and operated campground nestled in the foothills of Mt. Benson in North Nanaimo. We are a hard-working team who thrive on ensuring our guests enjoy every minute of their stay with us.

We're looking for out-going, motivated and team-oriented individuals to join our awesome team this summer, and ideally, returning again next summer! This position will be full-time, starting immediately, until September 1st. The ideal candidate is available to work limited part-time hours (flexible) through until Thanksgiving weekend. This is the perfect summer job!

What are we looking for?

Most importantly, a great personality. As a Senior Guest Services team member, you will be greeting all of our guests and visitors with a smile and ensuring they feel at home while they're staying with us. Must love kids! We pride ourselves on being a safe destination for families across Vancouver Island. Because of this there are kids everywhere! Someone who loves the outdoors and camping. Knowledge of Vancouver Island and local destinations is super helpful for this role.
This position requires a mature person who is a quick learner, has a strong attention to detail, experience with customer service, cash handling, friendly telephone demeanor, basic computer skills, ability to multi-task, and is comfortable working independently.

Bonus points if you speak more than one language!

This position will include evening and weekend shifts.

At BLC, we know how important it is to enjoy the summer so we provide our staff with their schedule for the entire season by the end of June!

Preference will be given to applicants with:

Experience in customer service/retail, including handling cash. Experience in the tourism/hospitality industry and/or working with children. Experience supervising other staff or overseeing others work. Strong knowledge of Vancouver Island and surrounding attractions
