We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GIS Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, FME, and Python, along with a strong understanding of data migration, system integration, and automation.

What you'll get to do as a Senior GIS Developer

Design, develop, and implement GIS applications, tools, and automation scripts using Python, ArcPy, and Esri REST APIs

Lead and execute data migration and transformation workflows using FME Desktop / FME Server

Support ArcGIS Enterprise deployments, including Portal, ArcGIS Server, and Data Store configuration

Develop custom web and mobile GIS applications using JavaScript (ArcGIS API for JavaScript, React, or similar frameworks)

Build and maintain geoprocessing tools, ETL workflows, and system integrations

Optimize data models and performance for spatial and non-spatial databases

Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into GIS-enabled solutions

Provide mentorship to junior developers and contribute to best practice documentation

What you'll need to be successful

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geomatics, GIS, or related field

5+ years of experience in GIS development using Esri technologies

Strong proficiency in Python, ArcPy, and ArcGIS REST APIs

Proven experience with FME (Safe Software) for data migration and ETL workflows

Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise (10.x-11.x), Portal, and ArcGIS Online

Familiarity with web GIS frameworks (JavaScript, React, TypeScript)

Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and spatial data management

Understanding of version control (Git), CI/CD, and DevOps workflows

Experience with cloud environments (Azure or AWS) is an asset

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,605.79-$116,566.40 per year
