we are building a platform with the millennial independent travelers in mind, worldwide, guiding them to off-the-beaten path places, helping them discover local gems & experiences, putting them in touch with like-minded influencers, travelers and locals and enticing them to discover cultural treasures and culinary delights.

We are also developing AI-powered personalization engines to suggest places, experiences and itineraries based on members lifestyle and tastes.

We are currently preparing for the undoubted and eager return of travelers across the world when Covid is under control.

We are seeking Dynamic, Independent Front-end Senior Web Developers for Website & Mobile application Development and Maintenance.

Tasks

Improve existing and implement new UI and UX strategies Design, build, and maintain React,js, Redux, JavaScript, HTML and CSS/Bootstrap code based on XD-based designs Build components using cutting edge front-end technologies Participate in code reviews Stay up to date with the latest Front-End technologies Participate in the development and maintenance of React Native solutions Integrate the UI and design for various products including websites, web apps, customized emails and more

Skills

Strong experience in React.js and other JS frameworks such as Redux (required) Strong HTML/CSS (Sass) skills (required) Strong Javascript/Jquery/Bootstrap skills (required) Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and solutions Experience building responsive websites Experience using JS libraries/tools such as Node.js Experience with integrating REST APIs in web application Experience working in an agile/scrum development process Understanding of functional and object-oriented programming paradigms Familiarity with writing tests Excellent communication skills Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team

Experience

5+ years experience developing production-grade web applications Proficiency in a UNIX/Linux environment Experience using versioning control systems (BitBucket, Git) Experience working in an Agile development environment Familiarity with consuming APIs

Education

BA / BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or proven real-world experience 5+ years of professional experience with enterprise level software
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $35.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
