We are looking for a passionate, positive and technically oriented Full Stack Engineer who is interested in working on a cutting edge veterinary application that utilizes the latest Ai technologies. We are working to transform the way veterinary hospitals care for patients and we are looking for team members that want to contribute to that vision (learn more at www.fydodx.com). This role will report to the Engineering Team's technical lead, but work closely with the CEO, CTO and subject matter experts. The role will be working with Front End, Back End and Large Language Model technologies. Must be both a self-starter and team-oriented and excited to work with Project Managers, Doctors, Ai Engineers and Data Scientists.

This role has a tremendous opportunity to grow with the company either toward a technical path of Architect or Technical Lead or toward a management path overseeing a growing team.

Experience and Job Qualifications

Full Stack Development of an Ai-driven web application for desktop and mobile Solid knowledge working with Python and PostgreSQL databases Experience with Flutter an asset Experience with Vue.js an asset Extensive experience with GCP and Cloudrun Experience with FastAPI Experience with event driven architecture Experience in Applied Backend Dev Set-ups &/or Applied Data Science Experience submitting to the Apple and Android App stores A degree in Computer Science, or a related field 5+ years of professional software engineering experience Ability to communicate effectively with developers of all disciplines and technical skill Ability to self-teach and meet demanding deadlines Must have experience with GITHUB

Location, Salary & Benefits

This can be either an in-office or remote, work-from-home position with the requirement for in-person meetings up to twice quarterly. Candidates that wish for an office setting either full or part time will have access to our Vancouver, BC Yaletown location, located in the heart of the city's tech vibe. Competitive compensation commensurate with experience including full benefits, four weeks vacation and option packages available.
