City National bank (CNB) is a full-service US bank that offers a complement of banking, trust and investment services. In 2015, City National merged with Royal Bank of Canada. We are hiring more Senior Full Stack Developers to help deliver the CNB digital roadmap for the Wealth Management business.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Work within a hybrid cross functional agile team to build digital products

Contribute towards the creation of intuitive, robust, and reusable user interfaces

Look for opportunities to ideate and improve the product and continually expand what is possible through technology.

Participate in our community of development and challenge yourself and each other to innovate and improve each day

Design microservices that offer the data and services to both internal and external partners

Maintain code quality and best practices across the stack

Understand and consistently apply accessibility guidelines (WCAG)

Work with ambiguity and ask for feedback to drive to a solution as part of the team

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

MUST HAVE:

4+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working within a cross functional agile development team

Solid grounding in OOAD and SOLID principles

You are familiar with the TDD approach and process as well as the BDD framework

Expert knowledge of Angular 13+, Bootstrap, Kendo, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript

Deep experience with .NET Core, C#

Solid experience working with RESTful APIs, WebAPI

Solid experience working with MS SQL Server, stored procs, queries and relational databases + structures

Experience with Micro Frontends using Angular

Experience with Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes

Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Equivalent

NICE-TO-HAVE:

Experience working in the finance industry

Exposure to DevOps best practices

Knowledge of product development methods

Experience with Azure Cloud Services such as ADF, AKS, Azure Functions

Azure AZ-204 Certification or equivalent experience
