Location: Ottawa, ON-minimum of 3 days a week onsite

General responsibilities

. Provides coordination services to the IT project team - acts as primary point of contact between internal team, client.

. Supports financial aspects of the project by coordinating billing, invoicing, resolving Work In Process (WIP) issues and tracking Accounts Receivables.. Manages timesheet compliance by ensuring signed client timesheets are received promptly to guarantee timely billing.. Informing management about project status and any serious issues that arose;. Maintains financial project documentation, and statistical information; including report creation, dashboard, and review for key performance indicators, as well as analysis of data/reports and investigation of any issues found.. Communicated weekly/monthly summaries for overall project status in MS Office Suite Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, including monthly project office support status reports, HR and cost impact of change requests to the PM and all levels of CGI stakeholders.. Report creation and review for key performance indicators, as well as analysis of data/reports and investigation of any issues found.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role




. Highly proficient in:



.A completed college diploma or university degree in finance.

.MS Office Suite with strong experience with Excel, Financial Dashboards, Tables, etc).

.Ensuring accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reporting, performing financial analysis and modeling skills

.Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

.Contribute to regular budgeting and forecasting activities

.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

.Able to prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines

.Works well independently and within a team environment

.Bilingual (French and English) - asset

.Analyzing, summarizing, and presenting financial results with keen attention to detail accuracy
