Our client, a very successful law firm, is currently seeking a Senior Financial Business Analyst (FP& A) for their finance team This is a hybrid role in the downtown core (2 days in office).Reporting to the Manager, Financial Analysis , the Senior Financial Business Analyst (FP& A) will provide financial reporting, forecasting, financial modeling, and financial analysis in evaluating the firm\'s financial performance, and other data to support decision-making across the partnership with a view to positively impacting results.Snapshot of the Role:\xc2\xb7 Timely and accurate collection, preparation, and analysis of data for financial reporting.\xc2\xb7 Analyzing and interpreting large volumes of data from financial systems to facilitate management reporting.\xc2\xb7 Developing financial models and forecasting to measure and report on KPI\'s.\xc2\xb7 Preparation of written reports and presentations summarizing financial performance and providing insights to internal stakeholders, including senior management.\xc2\xb7 Conducting trend analysis and industry benchmarking to prepare monthly executive presentations.\xc2\xb7 Participating in BI projects to consolidate data and create BI reports and dashboards.\xc2\xb7 Strengthening relationships within finance and various stakeholders with regular communication and effective feedback.Your Key Qualifications:
- University Degree in business, commerce, finance, or accounting.
- CPA designation an asset.
- Analytical mindset, exceptional modelling skills, deadline driven and strong attention to detail.
- Excel VBA Macros, SQL query tools, and Power BI advanced skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem recognition and problem-solving skills.
- Know your audience.
