Position Description:
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Financial Analyst who will play a critical, hands-on role in our finance team at a hyper-growth, fast-paced, technology-driven company. You will be a core member of our Forecasting, Planning, & Analysis business-partnering team and help drive the business by building budgets, forecasts and internal management reporting, as well as analyzing business results and key performance indicators. You will partner closely with our Leadership team and their enablement partners to provide business insights and recommendations that influence key decisions, optimize CAPEX and OPEX resources, minimize risks, drive operational excellence, impact customer and team member experiences, and shape future business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Reporting to the VP Finance, you will work together to deliver financial analyses and effectively communicate your analyses to enable decision-making that will improve customer experiences and drive business growth. You will look for inefficiencies in our financial processes, recommend and implement improved processes that drive better reporting and/or savings.
  • Owns the FP&A reporting calendar, including managing all corporate deadlines and deliverables
  • Drive activities including reporting, analysis and financial input to projects and business cases
  • Support quarter/month-end reporting by providing operating results and variance analysis for the business
  • Develop a strong understanding of business processes and operations to effectively present financial results to senior management
  • Perform analysis and interpret financial results to enable effective business decisions, identify trends and make recommendations for improvements to our forecasts and processes
  • Develop and prepare various KPI reporting and investigate variances to evaluate opportunities for savings
  • Recognize process improvement opportunities, provide recommendations and operationalize new processes that will drive better reporting and savings
  • Assist with adhoc finance and accounting reporting requirements
  • Develop effective business relationships with peers and executive management

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • CPA, CA, or CFA designation or near completion

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 - 6 years of relevant work experience in a similar position
  • Minimum 2-4 years directly in an FP&A role
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Familiarity with VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, and pivot tables are a must).
  • Ability to build complex financial models with minimal guidance
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with the ability to influence others at all levels in the organization
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, projects and activities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate finance and accounting concepts into operational insights and recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail with a strategic mindset
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to highlight inefficiencies and make improvements to processes
  • Naturally inquisitive: Desire to understand the interworking of business processes and our data which is paramount to performing accurate analyses
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to change in a hyper-paced environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in an ambiguous, unstructured environment
  • Self-motivated and confident in making sound business decisions
  • Team-oriented with a positive and constructive attitude
  • Familiarity with SAP, VBA, SQL, Python, Power BI is an asset
  • Candidates with manufacturing experience will be prioritized
  • Bonus Points: A passion for motorcycles and/or electric vehicles, public company experience
  • Travel may be required.
