About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a professional Senior Financial Analyst with at least 2 years working background in accounting.
Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle accounting for real estate portfolio
  • Present required and relevant information to management, investors and other parties
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annually reports and overall accounting process
  • Apply knowledge of balance sheet accounts and review financial statements
  • Work closely with organizations to help implement efficiency strategies
  • Organize and approve financial statements and variance analysis
  • Manage monthly receivables and capital expenditures
  • Manage bank reconciliations and review any discrepancies
  • Support in year- end Audit and Tax procedures
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years working background in accounting
  • Experience using Yardi Voyager (ideal)
  • Strong computer skills including advanced Excel
  • Proficient knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and regulations
  • Detail oriented, professional and organized
  • Strong communication skills- both oral and written
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • CPA designation and/ or working towards completing certification
