If you love music and got excited just thinking about joining this amazing organization, we would love to meet you!Senior Financial AnalystPosting closing date: April 4, 2024The UMC team works four days a week from our creative campus located in Liberty Village, Toronto and one day of work virtually.Reporting to the Senior Director, Reporting & Analysis, the responsibility of the Senior Financial Analyst include:Responsible for all aspects of month end reporting, forecasting and budgetingSupport different department needs from a management analysis and reporting perspectiveManage the preparation of the monthly reporting packages to the Senior Leadership TeamPerform COS analysis, revenue analysis and ad-hoc analysis when neededLiaise with key stakeholders throughout the businessProvide ad-hoc support for projects and initiatives, as requiredContinuously evaluate areas for process improvement and automationPerform financial, internal controls and compliance review to ensure best practice and complying with Global proceduresParticipate in Finance Projects, including system or process implementationsRequirementsCPA designation or enrolled in the CPA program5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 financial accounting experience in a corporate settingStrong accounting and financial reporting expertiseStrong understanding of P&L and Balance SheetExperience with SAP and BPC is essentialAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel (PivotTables, PivotCharts, XLOOKUP, data analysis tools, Business Analysis, etc.)Ability to work with multiple systems and work with varying data sourcesSolution oriented and creative problem solverGood written, communication and presentation skillsability to thrive in a high-pressure environmentAbility to manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountabilityCan-do attitude, with a hands on approach to problem solving and able to work under pressureUniversal Music Canada is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and strongly welcomes and encourages applications from Indigenous Peoples, people of colour, women, persons with disabilities, people who are 2SLGBTQIA+, and people from other diverse communities.
