Engage business partners and complete Quarterly Fixed Assets Review
Provide guidance on cost capitalization in project kick-off meetings.
Prepare budget tables for project funding requests.
Validate and consolidate budget and forecast submissions.
Support finance and internal clients with financial and strategic analyses
Analyze variances, identify budget shortages, and prompt project managers for additional funding.
Confirm budget availability for commitment requests and validate contract cost capitalization.
Ensure integrity of financial data, correct posting errors, and initiate project close-outs
Perform month-end and year-end activities.
Implement corporate financial and accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
Develop training material on financial acumen and accounting policies.
Evaluate implications of new processes, systems, and projects from a financial perspective
Lead ad-hoc projects and analyses
Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in business, Finance, or related field
Expertise in providing non-finance leaders with subject matter guidance.
Track record of developing and presenting to executive teams
Financial planning and analysis experience in a larger organization
Familiarity with general accounting, month-end, and year-end procedures
Competence in ERP, Oracle, and financial planning systems
Strong strategic and analytical thinking
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Efficient under tight timelines
Conducts financial investigations with data-backed recommendations.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Collaborates effectively with all staff levels.
Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity
Chartered Professional Accountant or actively working towards the designation.
Employment Details

Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Contract, Onsite
Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
Other: 7 months contract, possibility of extension or becoming permanent.
