Our client, a property management company is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst.

The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst is as follows:

• Adhering to GAAP, you will be instrumental in providing all the necessary information and oversee the preparation of the yearly financial statements for all entities;
• Soliciting engagements from the external auditors and ensuring that the relevant scopes are fulfilled;
• With respect to year-end, ensuring that investors receive the appropriate tax information, lenders receive annual reports, and investment partners are informed as required;
• With respect to internal controls and information for the Principals\' use, focusing on management reporting on a weekly basis; Accounts Receivables and Cash Flow;
• Managing the financial and managerial matters related to the corporate entities that control all the respective partnerships and joint ventures;
• Handling all the transactional accounting for the rental aspects of the current AUM (represents approximately 150+ tenants), ensuring the rent roles are accurate and current;
• Collaboratively communicating with the team for advisement of any material changes to the rent roll and associated property expenses;
• Interfacing with the team to ensure that all sales are properly tracked;
• Budgeting and reforecasting for all AUM, coordinating with the managers; and
• Reconciling the trust account with the external legal counsel regarding deposits and sales closings of commercial condominiums as well as for overall asset acquisitions and dispositions.

• Minimum 3 to 5+ years accounting/ analysis experience in the real estate industry;
• CPA designation preferred;
• Professional, clear & concise oral and written communication skills;
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
• Working knowledge of real estate /property management software.
