The Senior Financial Analyst will be accountable for consolidation and forecasting of RCI wireless subscriber metrics, performance management, and continuous improvement on current processes. This includes, and not limited to, day-to-day subscriber updates, weekly performance, key liaison with the business and Finance on forecast/budget targets and providing key insights from data analysis. This position will report directly to senior manager of forecasting and analytics. The successful candidate will be strategic and have the analytical skills to provide a perspective on highlighting risks and opportunities. Responsibilities:

Work with cross functional business and finance partners to provide accurate and timely actual and forecast/budget targets

Build, maintain and improve complex excel models for subscriber reporting

Create scorecards and month-end reports for senior leadership team

Develop and maintain subscriber forecasts with extensive integration to key reporting frameworks (ie. Sales Insight, BI, Comlink/Opensignal, Essbase, & internal market models)

Ad-hoc analysis on regional and national performance, market and competition results, and business decision support

Partake in the integration of Shaw in all levels of subscriber reporting

Assist Senior manager in discussions with Brand HUBs and agile squads to monitor progress to forecast on double clicks of Acquisitions and deactivations.

Prepare deact targets for Care team and inflow splits to Sales and marketing teams based on forecast submissions

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree business, economics, marketing (B.Comm/ MBA). CPA/CA Designation and/or Master\'s degree is considered an asset.

3-5 years of experience in analytic roles demonstrating an ability to derive actionable insights. Knowledge of telecom industry is a plus.

Expert knowledge level of Excel and other MS Office applications. Working knowledge of Hyperion/Essbase, SAS/SQL, relational databases, and Tableau/Power BI is an asset

Practical experience in manipulating large datasets and working effectively with different data sources

Solid organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to be flexible and adaptable to a changing environment to provide results

Proficient in statistics and business/financial analysis

Good work ethic, with the ability to work both independently and with teams

Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
