We\'re looking for a motivated professional to plant their roots with us as a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, you will report into our Director, Strategic Finance and provide financial support to our Corporate SG&A teams. You will be a key finance business partner and work with our leaders to identify variances, improve budgets and set our functions up for long-term success. Sound interesting? As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will\xe2\x80\xa6

  • Identify and investigate monthly and quarterly variances to budget and forecast, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and risks
  • Prepare reports and analysis at month and quarter end to communicate financial results to the Director, Strategic Finance and business leadership
  • Be a key strategic finance business partner supporting the Corporate SG&A functions and other teams through strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modelling, and ad hoc decision support that drives positive results for the business
  • Coordinate budgeting process deliverables and data consolidation and reporting
  • Bring business meaning to financial data and identifying variances and trends to provide insightful observations while supporting the monthly, annual, and long-range planning cycles across all business units
  • Capture and monitor risks, as well as opportunities across the business in partnership with other finance and corporate functions
  • Support the Strategic Finance team with board and business review presentations
  • Create and maintain complex financial models and dashboards to support the planning and monitoring of financial performance
  • Maintain a process improvement mindset supporting the evolution of Strategic Finance
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc projects to provide financial analysis for decision support
You will be setup for success if you have\xe2\x80\xa6
  • A Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or Finance (CPA, MBA, or CFA would be an asset)
  • 5 years of experience, preferably with a publicly traded company, global organization, public accounting firm, management consulting, or investment banking (we would also welcome an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical reporting tools
  • Familiarity with using a multi-dimensional ERP system for management reporting and experience providing financial and analytical support to those outside the Finance function
