Telecon is looking for an energetic, career-oriented individual to join our growing Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst.This full-time, hybrid position allows for remote work as well as two days a week in our office located in Ville Saint-Laurent.Reporting to the Director of Finance for the "SOP" (Support to Operations) department, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the production of accurate and timely consolidated financial information for management and business leaders. SOP is an important department responsible for fleet management, real estate, warehousing and procurement.YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Liaise with operations to provide timely and meaningful information to the SOP department
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and presentations
• Provide variance analysis between actual results, budget and forecasts
• Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process
• Participate in the month-end closing process, including analysis, closing entries, explanations, etc
• Ensure compliance with internal and external financial policies and regulations
• Perform various balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain lease contracts in accordance with IFRS16
• Participate in the implementation of our Standard rates system
• Management of the CAPEX financing application process, follow-up and analysis
• Contribute to the development and implementation of effective internal controls to ensure the protection of assets and the reliability of financial statements
• Prepare ad hoc analyses, presentations and financial reports as required.

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• 5 to 10 years\' relevant experience in financial accounting
• CPA designation an asset
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (French and English)
• Experience with relevant accounting packages and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, D365 and BI)
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and efficiently
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain highly confidential information
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all categories of employees.
