THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Senior Financial Analyst at Galvion, you will have direct engagement with senior management. In addition, you will work cross-functionally with various teams across the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

In this critical role, you will build budgets and forecasts and analyze and interpret results as well as interacts with external auditors, when required. We will look to you to provide weekly, monthly and quarterly management reporting at all levels with the intent to support business decision making, as well as to identify areas requiring further investigation and to provide insightful recommendations.

YOU WILL BE EVALUATED ON YOUR ABILITY TO

• Prepare monthly dashboard variance analysis to budgets and provide detailed analysis.
• Prepare and monitor departmental expenses.
• Analyze business trends by profit/cost center, product line and key customer and prepare commentary.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of annual budgets, forecasts and other reporting as necessary.
• Participate in monthly closing activities including analysis, accruals, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain files to ensure proper roll up of all departments and G/L accounts and maintain all master data required in the IT systems to ensure accurate reporting.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Meaningful experience with financial analysis and/or reporting; any experience with standard costing in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Expertise with budgeting, financial benchmarking and variance analysis with a solid understanding of how transactions flow and impact the financial statements.
• Ability to report accurately, meet tight deadlines, work on projects independently, be self-motivated and multi-task.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, to embrace change, and foster creativity within the organization.
• Preserve confidentiality of company financial information and employee personal information
• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance with a CPA Certification preferred
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
