Our client, a large public company specializing in the Health sector, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Montreal team.The Senior Financial Analyst, will play a key role in the team that supports financial operations.Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Reporting to the Finance Director and in collaboration with the finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in managing the company\'s financial and operational capital by participating in the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports.Responsibilities:
- Preparation of quarter-end financial statements such as working papers, schedules, and journal entry adjustments
- Assisting with treasury and cash management including cash flow results, projections, and spending variances
- Designing and proposing accounting and financial controls as necessary
- Analyzing and evaluating corporate financial performance as required
- Collaborating with Operations and Sales staff in the development and maintaining of current and accurate costing, planning, and forecasting of inventories
- Gathering and analyzing data on changes in product design, raw materials, and manufacturing methods to determine effects on cost and prices
- Contributing to the identification and reporting on opportunities for reducing purchasing and production costs as well as \xe2\x80\x9clean\xe2\x80\x9d manufacturing initiatives
- Reviewing and analyzing regular inventory cycle count results
- All other related tasksQualifications
- CPA, a major asset
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Ability to take initiative
- Be Bilingual (French and English) and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Demonstrate leadership
