Job Description

This is a 4-6 month contract for a company in the service industry. The SFA - FP& A will play a critical role in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes within the organization. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, department heads, and other key stakeholders to provide insightful financial analysis and support strategic decision-making
Responsibilities: * Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic financial plans.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial analysis, highlighting trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and long-term planning initiatives.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

• Degree in finance or accounting, CPA designation an asset
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis roles
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and budgeting processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience in BI360 tool an asset
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
