Job Description

Kelly Services has partnered with a well-established Canadian company that Motor Vehicle Manufacturing company who is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst for a long-term contract. This organization specializes in manufacturing, distributing, and marketing products for the automotive, commercial heavy duty and industrial Lubricant markets.

This position will be completed as a hybrid position with their offices located in the Etobicoke area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing analysis and commentary to support informed decision making by key stakeholders.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide financial analytical support for business cases and special projects
• Develop frameworks for various business cases
• Present finding and recommendations for review
• Complete and follow up with post-mortem analysis
• Assist with analyzing the impact of cost changes of raw material on the business and track price increase impact
• Assist with business decision making and investment opportunity analysis across the entire business
• Provide financial analytical support for special projects
• Proactively analyze various parts of the business, input costs, processes etc. to identify cost savings, efficiency opportunities or other drivers of additional profitability
• Assist with the corporate budgeting and forecasting processes
• Create budgeting/forecasting templates and communicate/train various cross functional owners on them
• Consolidate budgeting and forecasting information into summary and detailed reports and provide commentary for review
• Assist with the preparation of the budgeting/forecasting summary deck and update the balance sheet
• Support the production of Monthly Reporting Packages
• Continually identify specific gaps and opportunities in business
• Ad hoc tasks to assist the team

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior Financial Analysis position or other related position
• Completion of post secondary education in an accounting related program
• CPA Accounting designation or enrolled in program
• Advanced knowledge of Excel to be able to complete VLOOPUP/PIVOT/SUMIF etc.
• Capacity to adapt to different teams and manage priorities from multiple stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize work and manage everchanging deadlines
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
