This position may be based at any of our offices (St-Catharines(ON), Cornwall(ON), Brossard(QC) and St -Lambert(QC)) in order to meet with your clients. Also, Finance team members serve an English-speaking and French-speaking clientele so the person chosen will preferably be bilingual.


Role



The Senior Financial Analyst provides guidance, plans, organizes, coordinates and executes a variety of activities, reports and projects directed towards the achievement of our corporate mission and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities


  • Liaise with external agencies and staff across the corporation, providing subject matter expertise/advice
  • Carry out complex financial analysis, trending and forecasts, and recommend, develop and implement improved/new methods, techniques and procedures, while respecting internal controls.
  • Analyze, develop/update and maintain guidelines, procedures, working methods
  • Identify user and training requirements for and new systems, programs and practices and develop/execute testing and training programs during implementation.
  • Plan and execute budgets, month end, year end, quarterly variances and forecast reports, and provide primary support for the operational or business system to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform research and analysis, work in a team and provide technical guidance and support to other Financial Analysts

Experience and knowledge


  • A minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years experience in the subject matter area.
  • Knowledge of change management concepts and applications.
  • Sound knowledge of applicable procedures, rules, standards and safe work practices.


Education

  • University degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or Accounting


Certifications

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation

Hours of work: 37.5 per week
Salary range:$97,305.00 - $108,030.00
