Summary



Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will drive data-driven insights and automation to accelerate customer development. The ideal candidate will deliver advanced costing and pricing analyses and partner on digitization initiatives that enhance product and customer profitability.

Primary Responsibilities



Apply advanced costing models, scenario simulations, and predictive analytics to evaluate customer opportunities and optimize pricing strategies. Build dynamic, data-driven cost/market models that generate price estimations for customer quotes. Conduct customer and product margin analyses, delivering actionable insights and pricing recommendations Ensure accuracy of SAP master data (customer pricing, promotional accruals, and custom setups) to support digital tools and ensure data integrity. Collaborate throughout the project lifecycle with various teams to understand, challenge and propose solutions. Continuously refine analytics and recommend process improvements, identifying key cost components on the sales and production side of the business. Assist in other ad-hoc projects as required.

Required Experience

2-3 years of relevant commercial experience in a financial analytical capacity is required (food manufacturing preferred). University Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field. Advanced excel skills and financial/scenario modeling analysis. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems, with interest in digital/AI integrations. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and automation mindset. Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Self-driven and adaptable in a fast-paced, digital environment. Ability to reliably commute to the office in North York, ON for work.
