This position will report to the Director of Operations Finance and work closely with cross-functional colleagues to accurately prepare, analyze and validate financial data/information in accordance with an established monthly reporting schedule.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Lead SG&A annual budget and forecast, analyze monthly activity and variances to budget and forecast
• Prepare insurance renewal schedules and allocate insurance related costs
• Complete monthly and annual Government reporting for manufacturing and bog sites
• Responsible for monthly reporting and analysis.
• Prepare and record financial transactions via journal entries including accruals and recurring entries
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to support financial statements
• Have an understanding of multi-currency and multi-company accounting
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Prepare financial management reports as requested
• Comply with relevant laws and regulations and ensure the integrity of financial data
• Meet all financial reporting deadlines
• Co-ordinate/manage the company work efforts with Internal Audit, as required, when audits are being conducted.

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting required
• Strong understanding of accounting theory (multi-currency experience is a plus)
• CPA/MBA preferred

• 5+ years accounting/finance experience required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workloads and be proactive
• Some travel required
