We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team, reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, in this role, you will work closely with finance and operational teams & leadership to provide accurate, timely, and insightful analysis of the company\'s financial performance.

What You Get To Do:

Corporate Finance

  • Perform competitor analysis and research on current market trends.
  • Participate in financial analysis and due diligence of potential acquisition targets.
  • Assist with the calculation of enterprise value as well as DCF and IRR modeling.
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Consolidate monthly financial results, forecasts, and KPIs from multiple business units to produce concise and well-structured reports and presentations.
  • Conduct high-level variance analysis to identify and understand the key drivers of changes in activity for each business unit.
  • Analyze financial information, performance metrics, and industry trends to prepare MD&A reports for executive management and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in the preparation and validation of the annual budget.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, reports, and presentations.
Treasury
  • Maintain debt and cash levels across multiple business units in alignment with budget and overall corporate strategy.
  • Manage currency hedges to protect the company against foreign exchange risk.
  • Track intercompany borrowing and work with treasury and corporate secretaries to set borrowing rates and maintain loan agreements.
  • Participate in corporate cash and working capital forecasting.
Who You Are:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a similar role.
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional Certification or Designation e.g., CPA or CFA.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, displaying proactive behavior and taking ownership of tasks from inception to completion.
  • Strong analytical, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Dedication to service excellence, providing stakeholders with timely and accurate information in a courteous and professional manner.
