Currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst for one of our clients in Calgary, AB.

Length of assignment: 1 year

Schedule: 8 hours per day/ 40 hours per week

Scope of Work:

• Update monthly capital spend report (WBS based) and reconcile to the A1A asset report; troubleshoot variances
• Update monthly PMR Actual/Forecast/Budget working file and PMR templates. Conduct reasonability analysis (comparing actuals to Spotfire working forecasts).
• Coordinate monthly capital variance commentary/reporting with our team for our internal capital spend report (for our Sr. Manager and Director).
• Support Spotfire accrual load and extract process for monthly capital accruals. Troubleshoot with Spotfire system admin as needed.
• AFE supplement and AFE count status reporting and analysis
• Indicators of impairment and impairment test for Upstream onshore
• Quarterly IQRE pricing file update/analysis
• DD&A booking, analysis, and review
• Working with the business and tax on AUC (asset under construction) review and maintenance

Qualifications:

• CPA Designation is a must.
• Knowledge of IFRS and SOX controls
• Minimum of 10 years relevant accounting experience
• Comfortable and capable of business writing, oral communication and ability to communicate across
