Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description
Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for a 1-year contract in Calgary, AB. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home. This is NOT a remote role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and financial analysis to support Corporate Services
- Work closely with corporate planning and asset teams to track spending to budget and update the forecast
- Prepare monthly accruals and variance analysis, prepare account reconciliations
- Review consolidated financial statements to ensure they appropriately reflect the results related to the Company's corporate activities
- Complete timely and accurate cost allocations
- Maintain corporate asset continuity schedule and prepare monthly asset depreciation
- Track actuals and provide monthly reporting for ERP Onerous Liability
- Variance analysis and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience with SAP required
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
