Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description
Our client, in the Oil and Gas sector, requires a Senior Financial Analyst, for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will have Oil & Gas experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and financial analysis to support Corporate Services
- Work closely with corporate planning and asset teams to track spending to budget and update the forecast model
- Prepare monthly accruals and variance analysis, prepare account reconciliations
- Review consolidated financial statements to ensure they appropriately reflect the results related to the Company's corporate activities
- Complete timely and accurate cost allocations
- Maintain corporate asset continuity schedule and prepare monthly asset depreciation
- Track actuals and provide monthly reporting for ERP Onerous Liability
- Variance analysis and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports
Requirements
- University degree and a certified professional accounting designation (CPA)
- Experience with SAP required
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
