ROLE SUMMARY
1 Full-Time Position – 12-month Contract. This position will work closely with Celero Solutions (Celero), a joint venture with Alberta Central, reporting into Alberta Central’s Assistant Controller, this position requires advanced knowledge of complex accounting principles and performs a variety of complex accounting functions including but not limited to maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements and cash flow forecasts. This position also leads the operating and capital budgets process, analyses operating statements and other financial reports and recommends process improvements. This position works independently, is routinely assigned work and ad hoc projects of greater scope and complexity and must adhere to generally accepted accounting principles and reporting requirements.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player with an ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders and have a demonstrated ability to provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
