Your Opportunity



Our Toronto office is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Business Restructuring and Turnaround group. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build a meaningful career in financial advisory--where you'll be on the front lines of helping companies and creditors manage through disruption and change.


What You'll Be Doing:



Analyzing financial data, accounting records, and financial models Assessing business plans, forecasts, and financial positions of distressed companies Preparing integrated cash flow models and scenario analyses Supporting the execution of formal restructuring mandates including Receiverships, Proposals, and Bankruptcies Preparing formal reports to stakeholders, creditors, and the Courts Assisting in advising companies, lenders, creditors, shareholders, and regulators Managing multiple engagements and timelines concurrently Managing sales processes for the disposition of distressed assets and businesses Participating in practice development and business networking initiatives

Your Experience and Education:



2-3 years of experience in a professional accounting services firm (Audit experience is an asset) CPA designation obtained or in progress Experience in corporate restructuring, insolvency, or turnaround is a strong asset--but not required. We'll train the right candidate. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to tackling complex issues Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities Flexibility to work outside standard business hours and travel to client locations as needed Access to reliable transportation for occasional travel throughout BC
