Located in Blainville, 20 minutes north of Montreal in Quebec, Canada, and having branches in Woodbridge and Guelph, Ontario, Ivys Adsorption Inc. is hiring nearly one hundred dedicated specialists and is planning to grow within the next few years in this strategic market.
THE POSITION:
Based in Woodbridge, covering the GTA, Wellington County and the Southwestern Ontario region, this role focuses on field-based support for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of rotary screw, piston, and oil-free air compressors, as well as air dryers and filtration systems in biogas and industrial environment.
The ideal candidate is technically proficient, customer-focused, showing initiative and comfortable working independently across diverse gas and industrial sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform daily check and preventive maintenance on all the equipment of a Biogas upgrading plant (biogas blowers, oil flooded screw compressor, vacuum pump, Bioscrubber, PSA upgrading system, RNG compressor).
Keep track and log all the maintenance and repair activities at the plant.
Update / optimize the preventive maintenance and service schedule.
Keep track of spare parts usage and on-site inventory.
Perform installation, start-up, and commissioning of air compressor and air treatment systems at customer locations.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults on rotary screw, piston, and oil-free compressors.
Complete routine preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and equipment efficiency.
Maintain accurate service records using mobile field software.
Respond promptly to emergency service calls, including after-hours as needed.
Liaise professionally with customers and provide technical guidance or recommendations.
Mentor junior technicians when applicable.
Follow all health and safety protocols and maintain clean, safe work environments.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to successfully perform this role. However, any equivalent combination of experience, education and trainin
3-5 years of hands-on experience with compressed air systems or gas/industrial equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of VFDs, control panels, and PLC logic is an asset.
Valid Ontario driver's license with clean abstract.
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate initiative by taking full ownership of tasks and ensuring their successful completion.
Willingness to travel throughout the GTA and Southwestern Ontario (mainly day trips).
Preferred Certifications:
Licensed Millwright or Industrial Electrician (asset, not mandatory)
Manufacturer training (e.g., Atlas Copco, Kaeser, Ingersoll Rand) is a strong plus
WHMIS, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, First Aid (preferred)+ years of experience maintaining/servicing air compression systems.
Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean abstract.
Extensive knowledge of air compressors, air dryers, and compressed air system related products and willingness to continue learning.
Ability to interpret and follow compressed air equipment diagrams & schematics.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Occasional on-call/after-hours service duties.
Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision and direction.
Understand and support company-wide and provincial health & safety procedures.
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools and can determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to complete a job safely and efficiently.
Electrical and electronic knowledge is a must.
