As Senior Facility Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the facility and achievement of production targets, while demonstrating a high level of customer service and providing leadership to other Facility Assistants. If you have a passion for learning and a desire to expand your career, then you will have plenty of opportunities to grow with P&H, as many of our facility assistants have!

Your day-to-day activities will include:
Contributing to the movement of grain by loading/unloading shipments;
Mentoring and educating Facility Assistants in grading, inventory management and safety practices;
Grading a variety of grains
Binning and blending of all incoming grain;
Regular facility maintenance & housekeeping;
Blending fertilizer as applicable in crop input centers.

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

2-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a grain elevator facility;
1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Team Lead/supervisor;
Post-Secondary education in agriculture or business would be an asset; but not required
Aptitude for maintenance and repair of grain elevator equipment is an asset;
Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.)
Must be able to work within environments subject to dust and allergens and be willing to work a flexible schedule.
