Our client is seeking a Senior ETL - Software Developer
Key Deliverables for Senior ETL - Software Developer:
Product Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications for data integration and warehousing. Ensure compliance with Ontario healthcare privacy standards and security controls for sensitive data (PI/PHI).
Product Delivery: Build and optimize Informatica IDMC ETL processes, including mappings, workflows, and reusable components. Configure and monitor Amazon Redshift ingestion pipelines and design dimensional models for analytics-ready data. Apply advanced SQL/PLSQL for efficient querying and transformation.
Prioritization: Manage multiple data engineering tasks, balancing performance tuning, security, and scalability. Make informed decisions in complex or ambiguous scenarios to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Collaboration: Work closely with Data Architecture, ETL, and IT Operations teams to operationalize data assets. Communicate technical approaches clearly to stakeholders with varying technical expertise and ensure smooth integration with AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena).
