Job Description

The Senior Estimator - Buildings Construction will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various construction projects within the light industrial, temperature controlled facility, buildings construction industry. This role is based in Burlington and requires expertise in ICI GC side ground-up estimating for building projects.

• Prepare comprehensive and detailed cost estimates for building construction projects.
• Review project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate project planning.
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing for project bids.
• Monitor and analyze project costs to ensure alignment with budgets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and pricing structures.
• Assist in the development and improvement of estimating processes and tools.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related matters.

A successful Senior Estimator - Buildings Construction should have:

• Proven experience in ICI GC side ground-up estimating for building projects valued between $10M and $80M in scope with experience in design build projects.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and market costs.
• Proficiency in relevant estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
