Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Equipment Inspector to join our team. This role is a key part of our auction and yard operations, responsible for equipment intake, documentation, photography, descriptions, customer service, and equipment operation. The Senior Equipment Inspector will ensure that all incoming assets are accurately documented, safely unloaded, and prepared for sale, while maintaining a clean and professional yard environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete and upload contracts for equipment and consignment intake. Safely and efficiently unload customer equipment using Premier's equipment. Capture and organize Level 1-3 equipment photos; upload and manage them within internal systems. Write, upload, and export Level 1-3 equipment descriptions with accuracy and clarity. Provide on-site customer service during viewing periods; assist customers with questions about equipment. Operate Premier equipment to assist with customer load-outs. Support daily yard cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in equipment inspection or a related field (e.g., construction, agriculture, or industrial auctions). Strong attention to detail, particularly in photography and written descriptions. Comfortable operating heavy equipment and tools (training provided if required). Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced yard environment. Basic computer skills for uploading and managing files.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary:

$70,000 - 80,000/year

Phone Allowance Strathmore Yard is closed (23) business days during the year which are not required to be worked, not inclusive of Stat Holidays or Weekends. Additional to yard closed days are (10) days off to be taken as desired, in consultation with Yard Manager 0% selling commission through Premier Consignment Yards Occasional offsite travel may be required (LOA paid and expenses covered) [Optional: Include health, dental or other benefits if applicable]
