Senior Environmental Project Managers
to join our well-established team of environmental professionals!
This is the perfect position for a senior environmental professional who thrives in consulting, has proven experience managing diverse projects, enjoys business development and contributing to company growth, and excels at building and maintaining strong relationships.
Our project managers are the cornerstone of the company, dedicated to delivering exceptional client service. In this senior role, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, providing mentorship to other project managers and coordinators, and leading regional business development initiatives. Clients include regional and multi-national oil & gas and mining companies, hydro and power companies, government agencies, and First Nations communities.
Your Impact
Planning, organizing, and managing a diverse array of projects, people, and tasks.
Successfully managing project delivery through cost-efficient and timely completion of deliverables.
Maintaining, establishing, and developing client relationships that facilitate the successful delivery of projects and future opportunities.
Cultivating and maintaining relationships with other consultants, construction contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Supporting corporate business development initiatives, including compiling and reporting on regional business development opportunities.
Leading the preparation of proposals and cost estimates.
Maintaining and supporting Triton's industry?wide reputation as a leader in the environmental consulting industry.
Providing mentorship and training for our junior staff and for the environmental professional team.
Maintaining and improving upon Triton and client safety standards.
Promoting and maintaining a positive work environment through a culture of teamwork and cooperation within the office, region, and between other areas of the organization.
Your Skills & Experience
Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., environmental science, biology, agrology, ecology)
Experience working within the environmental industry sector is preferred.
Significant experience in project management (i.e., budgeting, project tracking, cost-accounting and scope control) and leading and supervising of project teams.
Knowledge of and experience with provincial and federal environmental standards, and regulations or guidelines.
Business development acumen (e.g., client relationships, strategic planning, proposal writing).
A quick learner, easily adapting to new software applications, systems, and business processes.
Effective writing skills and ability to produce meaningful reports and proposals.
Organized and self-managed, with a collaborative working style.
Strong problem solver able to address challenges with effective solutions that improve systems and/or relationships, and with strong strategic thinking skills.
Accreditation or eligibility for accreditation with a professional governing body and having a professional designation is preferred.

Your Compensation
Salary Range: $56- 72 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Location, Work Schedule & Flexibility
With offices across British Columbia and Alberta, this position offers opportunity to work out of various office locations such as Triton Wide Office Locations: Vancouver BC, Kamloops BC, Vernon BC, Terrace BC, Kitimat BC, Prince Rupert BC & Prince George BC, Calgary AB & Edmonton AB. Given the collaborative nature of this position, a hybrid work schedule is preferred, working on-site a few days per week.
