Job Title: Senior Enterprise Architect

Location: Remote - Edmonton, AB

Duration: 6+ Months (12-Month Extension)

Job description:

The candidate will have working knowledge and experience of IT infrastructure environments including general concepts of workstation/server hardware, software build and push strategies, and a general understanding of line-of-business applications and architectures.
The candidates must have a sound understanding of IT Change and Communication Management and User Acceptance Testing frameworks.

Must Have:

Experience in defining technical architecture, building technical environments, supporting software development processes and initiatives, software configuration and database management.

Experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders across departments.

Experience in multiple architecture domains e.g. business, application, technology, data/information, security, and privacy.

Experience with process improvement, documentation and requirement gathering

Experience with triaging technical issues/problems and troubleshooting.

Experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in drafting strategic business and technical documentation.

Nice to Have:

Experience collecting requirements, analyzing, designing or implementing M365 products and services, either on-premises or in a cloud infrastructure-as-a-service environment.

Experience collecting requirements, analyzing, designing or implementing Microsoft Power Platforms products and services, either on-premises or in a cloud infrastructure-as-a-service environment.

Experience in designing, building, testing, deploying and supporting applications in an enterprise environment equivalent in size and complexity.

Experience in designing architecture to support remote work and/or field-based workers.

Experience in developing new IT services including the development of service definitions, service measurements, cost models, processes, implementation and operational hand over.

Experience in IT infrastructure architecture and the relationships among the components that make up an IT service from end-user devices to servers, networks, storage, applications and data.

Experience in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions.

Experience with IT service management, IT service management applications, IT application development and maintenance projects.

Experience with User Acceptance Testing processes in a large, complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Experience working within an agile development environment.

Perform IT and/or business-related analysis, diagnosis, problem-solving, use case or scenario development, communication, presentations, planning, estimating, and documentation.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $70.00-$105.00 per hour
