Enterprise Data Management (EDM) is part of Enterprise Architecture team in Group IT. EDM drives end-to-end strategy and architecture of data solutions. Our Solutions include Enterprise Data Exchange hub, analytics data platforms, MDM, data quality, metadata management, data governance tools and upcoming solutions to support the growing needs of our data landscape. Our data practices include Requirement Analysis, Data Architecture and Modelling, Data Engineering, Enterprise Reporting and Testing. We ensure integrity of data for group functions operations and decision making. EDM collaborates with other IT teams like Global Applications, global infrastructure teams and others, to build technology roadmaps, reference architecture and data capabilities.

We have embarked on a modernization journey. EDM is laying out transformation plans for our teams and data landscape. We are looking for strong leaders to own the teams on this journey through their business and technical foresight.

We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect (EA) with Data and Analytics expertise within department Enterprise Architecture. The enterprise architect is accountable for proactively leading Data & Analytics driven technology transformation activities and driving targeted business outcomes. The EA support initiatives and harmonization efforts redefining Data & Analytics driven local legacy processes/systems into central and group wide platforms. Reporting to the Head of Data Management EA will ensure that Data & Analytics Architecture vision and standards are driven through a common framework and continuous adoption of cloud-based enterprise Data Management platforms, governance related to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s core services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving development of a multi-year Data & Analytics Roadmap based on Capgemini Target Architecture and Roadmap Development Process with Data & Analytics Enterprise Architects
  • Developing Data & Analytics technology standards, guidelines, and principles across different entities
  • Driving transformation target architecture roadmap for Finance.
  • Ownership of Enterprise capability view of Finance domain.
  • Drafting technical standards for technologies such as Data Management capabilities
  • Building Data centric initiatives and offerings so as leading technical challenges as client transition from traditional data patterns to new generation data & analytics architecture or cloud-based integrations
  • Identifying technology related customer difficulties by mapping existing technologies to business capabilities, applying EA established standard practices and participating in R&D activities to identify and build strategies to alleviate these problems
  • Enabling IT development and infrastructure teams to make smart choices through technology strategies, frameworks, standards and by working with technical & solution architecture teams
  • Spotting technical risk and vulnerabilities in the IT environment that will delay impending projects or lead to post release defects
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to analyze enterprise business context (business strategy and trends) as well as change requirements in other enterprise architecture viewpoints to derive the technology architecture future state
  • Defining migration plans to address the gaps between the current and future state, typically in sync with Global Applications architects
  • Identifying the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures) and financial impact of the application portfolio and enterprise technology stack
