Senior Engineer, Project Manager - Land Development

We are seeking an experienced, accomplished, and self-motivated
Project Manager
to work in the Land Development group based out of our
Guelph
office. This position is a team leader and will mentor and develop junior staff, monitor and ensure thorough implementation of the Tatham Engineering Quality Control program on all projects, and identify project opportunities in existing and new project areas. This role will serve as a Project Manager and provide support for multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and complete projects as a Senior Engineer, including budget, schedule and resource management, billings, and client liaison
Planning and design of infrastructure projects using appropriate software
Prepare and/or review engineering studies and reports, design calculations, drawings, specifications report writing, project coordination and management
Assign and coordinate staff assignments and review of work completed by junior staff
Lead business development and raise profile of the department and all other Tatham Engineering departments
Proactively create and build relationships with existing clients, potential clients, agencies, contractors and suppliers
Key Position Requirements
P.Eng. in the province of Ontario, registered with PEO
Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience, preferably in the consulting environment
Strong, relevant design experience
Strong project management experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent technical and analytical skills
Demonstrated abilities as a team leader, responsible for managing a team of support staff
Working knowledge of appropriate design and analysis software
Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards
Demonstrated experience with business development
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Understanding of Tatham Engineering's mission, vision and purpose and actively promotes same
