Affirm is searching for a Senior Employee Relations Partner to help support the growth and scale of our Employee Relations team. In this role, you will conduct workplace investigations, provide advice and counsel to business and People Business Partners, and conduct various ER trainings. You will assist in providing coaching and guidance to leadership and managers to drive solutions with a deep and detailed understanding of Affirm\'s business and culture. Affirm is a remote-first company, so this role is eligible to work from anywhere in the US.

What You\'ll Do

  • Serve as a subject matter authority and partner with employees and business leaders to provide resources and mentorship when sophisticated workplace issues arise.
  • Responsible for conducting timely, objective, and thorough internal investigations including but not limited to allegations of harrassment, discrimination, accommodation, and retalation.
  • Provide guidance on the interpretation and administration of company policies, procedures and programs.
  • Facilitate and assist with trainings to employees and managers that revolve around Employee Relations and performance concerns
  • Partner with our People Partner team as needed to manage investigations, employee disciplinary issues, and performance management situations
  • Maintain accurate and timely case files, documentation, and follow up regarding investigations and performance management concerns
  • Assist in standardizing processes for the Employee Relations team and provide guidance on how to deal with sensitive employee concerns.
What We Look For
  • 5+ years in People related roles with 3+ years experience in workplace investigations or similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor laws and governmental compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience of coaching leaders through performance management and employee relations issues.
  • Intellectual curiosity about people and organizational issues.
  • Experience establishing relationships as a trusted advisor to executive team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Strong project management, change management, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • A doer mentality with the ability to translate vision into action.
