What you'll doDesign and develop electrical circuits for machine vision camera boards and test systems Plan PCB stackups and layouts, collaborating closely with layout engineers Select components and create schematics that meet Teledyne DALSA's high standards Optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and testability Simulate, debug, and bring up new board designs Troubleshoot and improve existing designs in lab and production environments Collaborate across disciplines--firmware, FPGA, mechanical, thermal, and test teams Document designs and lead review meetings Support production teams to ensure timely product delivery Share knowledge and contribute to new camera design ideas

What you needStrong skills in analog and digital circuit design Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Siemens PADS) and lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters) Familiarity with communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet Knowledge of high-speed signal design and board interconnects Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks Minimum 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Experience with ADCs, DACs, SMPS, LDOs, op-amps, FPGAs, microcontrollers, and fiber optics Advantage: Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering
