Working in collaboration with the engineering team, you will be called upon to use your technical expertise to design, prototype and bring to life different electric elements destined for metro systems nationwide.
Tasks:
Develop and refine digital and analog circuits for the control and supervision of train doors.
Supervise or develop test benches for the validation of various systems and subsystems.
Design printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Participate in design reviews.
Engage in research and development activities for innovative systems.
Ensure compliance validation and certification of prototype systems.
Provide technical support to production.
Act as a technical resource for our clients.
Write technical documentation related to your projects.
Verify or develop wiring diagrams.
Requirements
:
BAC in Electrical or Electronic engineering
with a
minimum of 7 years
of experience
Experience in the development of digital and analog circuits, particularly for motor control, microcontrollers, networking and test benches.
Independence, strong technical judgment, clear communication, practical sense, creativity, and high attention to detail.
Knowledge of certification standards for electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC), shock& vibration, and flammability.
Hands-on experience with design tools such as KiCad or equivalent.
Experience in leading a development team.
Proficiency in French and English.
Willingness to travel occasionally within Canada, the United States, Europe, and Asia (approximately 10%)
Nice to have experience
:
Experience in the railway or aerospace industry.
Hands-on experience with design tools such as CPLD, FPGA.
Strong technical background and versatility in other engineering disciplines such as mechanical and physics.
Experience with design tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
Basic knowledge of embedded system programming: control systems, data acquisition, and networking.
Knowledge of Ethernet/UDP/TCP/IP networking
