We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Residential Drafter. In this role, you will oversee the drafting department, accurately translating architectural concepts into precise construction drawings. As a Senior Residential Drafter, you will collaborate closely with our clients design and construction teams, ensuring that every home built meets our clients high standards of quality and excellence.Advantages

- Create, review, and revise drawings to reflect design changes, client preferences, and construction requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior drafters, supporting their professional development.
- Maintain accuracy and precision in all project documentation, ensuring seamless collaboration with the construction team for flawless project execution.
- Develop comprehensive floor plans, elevations, and cross-sections for residential projects, adhering to local building codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and governing personnel to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical elements into drawings.
- Review and revise drawings to ensure they accurately reflect design changes and meet stringent construction requirements.Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in architecture, drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential drafting, particularly within the home-building industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting tools.
- Deep understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Summary
