Responsibilities:
Here is a preview of your day-to-day:
  • Participates in all rooftop and tower projects during design,
  • Provide technical details and sketches for engineers and clients,
  • Provide drawings that follow internal and industry standards,
  • Produce preliminary and complete drawings,
  • Produce fabrication drawings,
  • Provide final project checking,
  • Perform field visits independently,
  • Contact clients for access and questions,
  • Rectify design issues and recommend solutions,
  • Complete Permit & Construction drawings utilizing AutoCAD for Telecom Industry,
  • Ensure all quality control and assessment procedures are achieved.
Qualifications:
A summary of the skills required to be successful in this position:
  • Hold a relevant post-secondary training programs (Civil Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Architectural Technologist) or a relatable telecom industry experience,
  • Pocess at least 5 years of experience,
  • Pocess a good knowledge of steel
  • Pocess a good knowledge of general accepted Telecom construction practices to establish requirements, notes and tasks
  • Comprehension and interpretation of field notes, design sketches and photograph imagery to complete technical design drawings;
  • Show strong communication, interpersonal, problem solving and multi-tasking skills,
  • Hold strong AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills,
  • Have the ability to easily assimilate new concepts,
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management skills,
  • Show the ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
  • Have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment,
  • Demonstrate fluency in French would be an asset.
