And looking for a passionate, driven and energetic candidate to join our team for the position of Senior Director or a Director of Retail Leasing located in either Guelph, ON.Looking for a chance to make your mark in a fast-paced, professional and fun environment? As the successful candidate you would be responsible for determining, managing and overseeing the national leasing function for Skyline\'s Retail REIT portfolio in order to maximize our overall occupancy and revenue while supporting Skyline\xe2\x80\x99s shared goal of increasing efficiency and surfacing value in real estate.What we look for:

• Extensive experience with all aspects of retail leasing, especially the ability to foster and maintain ongoing relationships with brokerage communities to ensure external awareness of Skyline\'s Retail portfolio.
• Passion to design and deliver annual marketing plans for retail portfolios and properties.
• Ability to identify and implement on a regional and property-by-property basis a leasing structure for new and renewal tenancies (i.e. external brokerage relationships, direct listings and/or negotiation by Portfolio Manager and/or Leasing Manager).
• Experience with determining annual leasing assumptions for vacant areas.
• Ability to negotiate all tenant renewals and new leasing on any vacant or expiring space.
• An ambassador who will encourage a highly professional and positive image of Skyline Retail REIT properties, Skyline Commercial Management Inc., our affiliates, and management.
• Strong knowledge of principles and practices of retail leasing and of applicable federal, provincial and local laws and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and customer service skills with an enthusiasm for working with the public and a sense of humour!
• Capable of operating under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Able to work a flexible schedule and travel when required.
• Bachelor\'s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or any other related field is required.
