The incumbent plays a key role in managing and optimizing the company's operations and administrative functions. Under the supervision of the VP General Manager, he is responsible for production, and for the coordination of the Pavemetrics management framework. Skillful and organized by nature, he coaches and supervises the work of the Production Supervisor and the person in charge of strategic purchasing. It also ensures the continuous improvement of these people and their productivity. Leading the coordination of the management framework with the CEO, the incumbent ensures its efficiency and production of the necessary reports of the business unit in the Eddyfi group. He works closely with the DG and Senior Directors to deliver on strategic priorities.

As Senior Director, Operations and administration, you must be able to
Coordinate (bring to life) the management framework established at Pavemetrics.
Act as a leader in the coordination and reporting of operational budget analyses and projections (monthly budgets provided and by the controller) in close collaboration with the management team, the controller and the GM.
Manage your operations team's budget.
Participate in the development of the strategic planning of the business unit with the GM.
Implement and monitor key performance indicators in line with the company's operational plan.
Make day-to-day decisions to minimize the business unit's working capital, essentially by minimizing inventories and accounts receivable.
Provide leadership to the production team by fostering a culture of performance, innovation and collaboration.
Guide the Director of Operational Performance (and Strategic Purchasing) in the development of sustainable sourcing strategy by implementing optimal purchasing and logistics strategies and maintaining excellent relationships with strategic suppliers.
Guide the Production Supervisor in achieving quantitative and qualitative production objectives as well as inventory management.
Ensure that the company's strategic objectives are met by ensuring the delivery of complex technological products that must meet high quality standards within the required deadlines.
Manage all administrative aspects of the business unit such as insurance, vehicle management, drafting of certain documents, relations with certain government stakeholders, accommodation management, management of timesheet tools, management of expense account tools and the purchase of office supplies.
Recruit, train, assess and manage the talent of the operations team.
Provide support for internal or external audits of inventories, grant-aided projects, and government programs.
Act as an internal reference for communication and compliance with group policies.
Any other related tasks.
What makes you an asset to our team
Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, finance or a related field (or comparable experience in operations management).
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management in a technological or manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
Good command of financial and budgetary tools.
Strong leadership and ability to mobilize teams towards the achievement of strategic objectives.
Analytical mind with the ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal management skills.
Rigor, organization and attention to detail.
Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written.
