POSITION SUMMARY:



The Senior Director, MedTech reports to the Vice President, Commercial Operations NAM Plasma & Canada MedTech, Fresenius Kabi MedTech, and heads the MedTech department The Senior Director, MedTech (Senior Director) is responsible for the overall coordination, management and leadership of all marketing, sales, and strategic development of the MedTech business (comprised of the Infusion & Nutrition Systems and Transfusion Medicine & Cell Therapies portfolios) for Fresenius Kabi Canada Ltd. (the Company). This role provides strategic leadership support to both internal and external partners to ensure execution of the overall strategy for the Company's MedTech portfolio. The Sr. Director works with the Vice President, Commercial Operations NAM Plasma & Canada MedTech to develop market strategies that position the company to achieve long term growth while meeting annual revenue and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities



Works closely with the VP to plan, develop, coordinate and execute the overall go- to-market strategy including developing the overall commercial and brand plans, executing key marketing programs and campaigns and delivering on overall financial results for the MedTech portfolio Prepares forecasts and forecast presentations in collaboration with Finance and VP. Analyzes financial performance against budget and forecast and workswito to develop appropriate action plans to address variances Develops metrics and KPIs to ensure strategic, operational and financial targets are on track Establishes C-suite relationships with key customers and conducts quarterly or bi-annual business reviews. Stays connected with market needs through frequent interactions with customers and attendance at industry meetings. Provides oversight and direction to the employees in the department, in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures Foster a work environment conducive to an engaged team; leading by example and managing by engagement principles and learnings Collaborate with Human Resources team and provide support for executing HR processes, programs and policies for the team Adheres to corporate, regulatory and individual responsibilities supporting the Company's quality management programs, supporting policies, procedures, work instructions, and relevant software Identifies, establishes and develops relationships with key internal and external decision-makers to support Company product lines Conducts continuous surveillance of the MedTech landscape in order to make recommendation for any future needs, organizationally and product focused, to achieve business goals Maintains knowledge of products, clinical procedures, and educational requirements in support of the sales and product usage cycles Collaborates with Global entities in support of the Canadian sales and marketing strategies Responsible to enforce compliance with regulations and policies, ensuring ethical and efficient practices within the team Internally there is interaction with staff and management of all local and regional internal departments including but not limited to Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Scientific Affairs as applicable Externally there is interaction with healthcare professionals, marketing support services and related vendors Ensures timely communication of complaints to the Quality department and Adverse Drug Reactions to the Vigilance department as per Standard Operating Procedures Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or a related field. Senior-level experience in commercial leadership within MedTech or related healthcare sectors. Demonstrated operational excellence with a proven ability to design, implement, and optimize business processes that drive efficiency, productivity, and quality. Direct experience managing a full profit and loss (P&L) statement for a business unit or portfolio, including responsibility for revenue generation, cost control, and delivering on financial targets. Strong financial acumen, including understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; ability to translate financial insights into actionable business strategies. Experience in allocating resources (people, budget, time) to maximize operational effectiveness and achieve business objectives. Experience collaborating with finance, supply chain, HR, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and execution of business plans. Strong decision-making skills with a focus on balancing operational needs and financial discipline. + Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Aptitude to drive results in a matrix organization and influence others without direct management authority
High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness. Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
