Senior Director: Commerce Presales

Role

Work with SkillNet commerce sales team in proposing suitable ecommerce solutions to prospects. This will involve leading discovery meetings with prospects to understand business and technical requirements, identifying and proposing the right solution, and preparing and presenting proposals.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Technology or equivalent.

Minimum Experience (by work and in years)

• Minimum 15 years, out of which a minimum of 10 years in implementing, designing, selling, or developing e-commerce and related solutions.
• Must have hands-on experience implementing (as a lead business analyst or enterprise architect or a similar role) multiple e-commerce platforms, and at least one modern/headless/composable platform.
• Very strong customer presence and communication skills. Must be able to lead e-commerce discovery workshops with senior executives, propose solutions, create detailed technical and commercial proposals, and present/defend such proposals.
• Ability to work in US/Canada or in these time zones.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Deep understanding of multiple industry-leading digital commerce solutions, including SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, CommerceTools, Spryker, VTEX, Mirakl, Oracle (ATG), BigCommerce, Adobe or similar; either as a business analyst or an enterprise architect or both.
• Solid understanding of the overall digital commerce technology landscape including e-commerce systems, content management systems, product information management systems, digital asset management systems, personalization systems and others.
• Knowledge of B2B, B2C, Marketplace and other e-commerce business models, as well as omnichannel customer journeys.

Good to have Skills & Experience

• Experience working in product management, consulting or presales.
• Role with a leading digital commerce product company.
• Experience working with a large consulting firm like Accenture, Deloitte etc. or a boutique digital commerce consulting firm.
• Some sales experience.
• Experience working in US, UK or Canada.
• Degree in business administration
• Direct experience working for a retail organization
