Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design of digital and mixed-signal areas of Aviat access broadband wireless telecom systems.
• Involved in all development phases from concept to production.
• Select components, design schematics, supervise PCB\xe2\x80\x99s layout, and perform bring-up and debugging.
• Working with component, PCB fabrication, and contract manufacturing vendors.
• System and board-level tests and characterization.
• Develop supporting test scripts.
• Support compliance and standards certification process.
• Prepare design and test documentation and reports.
• Working closely with project management and other engineering departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in the wireless telecommunications industry.
• University Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed design and layout techniques.
• Design experience with CPUs, FPGAs, and SoC devices.
• Experience designing with Ethernet routing and switching platforms (Broadcom/Marvell knowledge a plus).
• Experience working with several programming and scripting languages.
• Extensive experience working with lab devices and test instruments.
• Strong knowledge of OrCAD and Mentor schematics and experience working with PCB layout designer.
• Understanding of analog and radio frequency technologies, concepts, and implementations.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
